It’s a Create With Me project day! Create With Me is a monthly challenge where you, the reader, choose the medium that we are going to work with to create a project. Last month, you chose fabric. I decided to make a fun little craft project, perfect for Valentine’s Day! Yesterday, I shared a round-up of Valentine’s Day projects, now you have one more to add to your list!
These cute little treat bags are super easy to make. You don’t really need knowledge of sewing to put together these bags.{This post contains affiliate links, see full disclosure here.}
My daughter, Emma, takes a sewing class and gets a lot of fabric squares for her projects. I gathered a whole bunch of fabric in Valentine’s Day colors and used a wooden heart I had on hand as my template to cut out a heart for the front of each one. My little bags were purchased at the Target Dollar Spot, but HERE is a link to similar ones.
Using embroidery floss in a contrasting color, I hand stitched with large stitches the heart to the front of the bag.
So simple and yet so cute!! These can be filled with candies or small trinkets. Also, small bottles of body lotion or hand sanitizers would fit down in them.

I love a fabric project that doesn’t involve a sewing machine- since I don’t know how to use one! lol. The hand sanitizer idea.. that immediately hit me as such a good idea for teachers, medical professionals, people who work customer service. I remember going through so much of the stuff back in the day. Nowadays though… gimme chocolate!
