Two Week Cruise To Europe~ What I’m Wearing

We are about to embark on a two week cruise to Scandinavia.  I'm sharing today what I've packed for this adventure!

If you've been around here for a while, you know we like to travel.  As a family we have decided to forgo many of our house projects and other things to budget instead for vacations.  Our girls are now in High School and we are coming to the realization that we do not have that much time left with them at home!  One of the things we value is travel and seeing the world and different cultures.  Greg and I feel these lasting memories and experiences we make together, they can take with them into their adult lives.

Some of our previous experiences I've shared are South Africa (LINK), Capetown, South Africa (LINK), Athens & The Greek Isles (LINK), and most recently, Cuba (LINK).

Our latest adventure is to Europe.  We are taking a two-week cruise through Scandinavia to St. Petersburg, Russia.  We are excited to be joined in this adventure by both sets of parents.  It is going to be a busy two plus weeks with  visits to 7 different countries!  For more details on our cruise, you can visit Princess Cruise Line, Baltic Heritage (LINK).

I will be sure to post on Instagram (LINK), as often as I can and do a follow-up post when we return home.

Today's post is all about the packing!  Packing for a trip can be a hassle.  Not only that, but on a cruise, different types of attire are recommended for the evening meals.  I have worked tirelessly to come up with a wardrobe that I think will work for this trip!

Two Week Cruise in Europe~ What I'm Wearing

The countries that we will be visiting will have mild temperature ranges so I am packing for 60-70 degree F weather.

Excursions

These are the outfits I am planning on for excursion days. We will have a lot of walking and my thought is to layer up and I can always shed a layer if needed!  I am concentrating on t-shirts, denim, black city pants from Athleta (LINK), and then a couple of sweatshirts.

Dinners

There are three formal dinners on board so I am taking this green jumpsuit (LINK), a black dress (LNK), and this gingham dress (LINK).  All are items I could wear again on another night if I switch heels out for sandals.  Also, I am packing a pair of cropped cream pants and white denim jeans.  I will use several of my t-shirts from above and add a statement necklace to dress them up a bit. One white cropped cardigan (LINK) will be good to throw over anything for air-conditioned spaces.

Shoes

I'm planning on wearing athletic shoes when I'm on excursions. I am going to alternate between these Allbirds (LINK), and my Adidas UltraBoost (LINK).  Both are super comfy and have a lot of cushion for walking. For dinners, I packed a pair of leopard heels (LINK), neutral heels, and a pair of sandals.  I threw in one pair of flip-flops for the pool.

Extras

I'm taking one swimsuit and a coverup, a rain jacket, and an athletic top to pair with either leggings or these comfy linen shorts (LINK) for working out.

For airplane travel, I swear by this rolling under the seat bag (LINIK)!  It has tons of pockets and can hold lots of goodies for your trip while on an airplane.

Besides socks and undergarments, that's it!  I hope I have everything I need.  It's going to be grand adventure!  Can't wait to set sail this weekend! If you are interested in more travel necessities, check out this post (LINK). I also have a specific category in my Amazon store for Electronics and Travel.  You can check that out, here (LINK). I'm loving my new Kindle which will allow me to travel light this vacation with all the books I'd ever need! (LINK)

Looks like you are ready for the adventure! I would be thrilled with a trip to cooler climes for summer. Alas, business calls and I will be heading to Italy at the hottest time of the year! Enjoy your time away dressed to the nines!!
