Spring Jacket & Crossbody Bag

I hope you had a good weekend!  Over here, it was somewhat low- key with sports being off for spring break.  I actually had a wonderful evening with my mom on Saturday seeing To Kill a Mockingbird at our local playhouse.  She is visiting from AZ and we decided to do something fun just the two of us.  I love the book and seeing it in play form was a dream come true.  It was the perfect end to a several day birthday celebration over here.  Yes, I am now a year older {probably not wiser!}

Today's outfit is the perfect spring outfit for weather here in the midwest.  With the unpredictability, we experience, like snow blowing sideways in April, {no joke we had that on Saturday,} it is always a good idea to have a jacket or cardigan along with you.  I recently bought this cargo jacket from Gap.  I fell in love with the style but also the array of colors that are available.  Every shade from khaki, olive, or even bright pink.  It has a drawstring on the inside which cinches in the waist to give it a little definition.  I have literally worn this day after day this spring.  It's comfy, stylish and goes with anything.

Let's talk about this bag!  Crossbody bags are so practical when you need to be hands-free.  What I look for is one that is adjustable since I'm tall and also is roomy enough to hold what I need without getting too bulky.  I don't want to feel like I'm lugging along a sack of potatoes when I'm walking down the street.

Tomorrow is an exciting day around My Life From Home!  I am releasing my first e-Book called, Personal Style Workbook. It's a comprehensive workbook that takes you through specific steps that anyone can do to find your personal style!  I have been using this process for years and am excited to put it on paper and offer it to you!

I'll be sharing more about it as the week progresses, but get your first look at it here!

To life feeling like home!
