I thought I’d back up a second with the simplified wardrobe and show you over the next three days an easier view of what I have come up with as my basic wardrobe. I have put together three collections: tops and sweaters, bottoms and dresses, and shoes and accessories. Today I am showing you the tops and sweaters collection that I will be using to make up the outfits I will be posting.

I have had the hardest time finding an organizational solution for my jewelry! I ♥ jewelry. With the exception of a few pieces, my jewelry is mostly costume jewelry which I can replace with new pieces when I’m tired of them. I believe that jewelry can truly make clothing into an outfit. Now to organizing it. I purchased from a jewelry supply store the supplies I need and got to work.
One of the best things about homeschooling is that you can make learning happen anywhere! I have enjoyed turning even the most mundane activities into a learning experience for Emma. I feel like I often missed out on teaching our children basic life skills because we were so caught up in the craziness of school, sports and just life in general. One of my goals this year is to slow down and teach her some valuable life skills that will help her be a more well-rounded individual as an adult.
We just finished a science unit on nutrition and I was looking for a way to extend it when I came across this packet called Grocery Store Math.
Here is the 3rd outfit I came up with in my simplified wardrobe. This time, you may recognize the gray jeans and the black boots. I paired them with a polka dot tee I already had and a really cute poncho that I bought from Old Navy this season. A chevron necklace and the outfit is complete!
