Here are the dresses and bottoms that I am working with this fall. It may not look like a lot, but every piece is versatile. Oh and can you tell I like denim! Now that I’m home, I live in the luxury called…. denim. I have spent the last 10 plus years wearing dress pants and I refuse to put on another pair at least for awhile. This is where I feel the journey has taken me and I am relishing in my option to wear alot of denim! With that said, I do have leggings, corduroys, cargo khakis, a cute skirt and two dresses to round out my wardrobe.

I thought I’d back up a second with the simplified wardrobe and show you over the next three days an easier view of what I have come up with as my basic wardrobe. I have put together three collections: tops and sweaters, bottoms and dresses, and shoes and accessories. Today I am showing you the tops and sweaters collection that I will be using to make up the outfits I will be posting.
I have had the hardest time finding an organizational solution for my jewelry! I ♥ jewelry. With the exception of a few pieces, my jewelry is mostly costume jewelry which I can replace with new pieces when I’m tired of them. I believe that jewelry can truly make clothing into an outfit. Now to organizing it. I purchased from a jewelry supply store the supplies I need and got to work.
One of the best things about homeschooling is that you can make learning happen anywhere! I have enjoyed turning even the most mundane activities into a learning experience for Emma. I feel like I often missed out on teaching our children basic life skills because we were so caught up in the craziness of school, sports and just life in general. One of my goals this year is to slow down and teach her some valuable life skills that will help her be a more well-rounded individual as an adult.
