I have been so excited to share today’s post with you! We finally have the kitchen cabinets painted and photographed for you to see! If you missed the prior post where I explained how I DIY’d the cabinets myself, you can catch up HERE. It’s not to be missed if you are thinking of painting your cabinets. I explain step by step how to tackle the project.
Ok, so now to the before pictures. Oooo remember those outdated oak cabinets? Not hideous, but needing to be refreshed.
Here are pictures from the painting while in process.
And lastly, the best pictures yet. The completed kitchen!
For the time being, we decided to leave the doors off of these two cabinets to display my white dishes and glassware. We may add doors with glass or chicken wire at some point.
I think it looks so fresh and clean. It definitely lightens up the whole space.
What a difference!
This project definitely gave me a few gray hairs and inconvenienced our family for several weeks. Also, I will be taking a break from all things paint for a while, but it certainly was worth it in the end. I am beyond happy with the outcome. I spent around $250 dollars for the project compared to the $3000 estimate to get it professionally painted.
What do you think?
