About a month ago, I shared how I dried fruit in the oven (LINK). It was a super easy DIY project and made the house smell amazing! Today I'm going to share how I turned those dry fruit pieces into a beautiful garland and ornaments for my mantel and nature inspired tree.

Once your fruit is dry, (LINK for YouTube video for full drying instructions), It is easy to poke holes in each of the pieces. Using a safety pin helped with threading the ribbon through each piece. After working my way through my pile of slices, I spaced them out evenly and tacked it up to the dining room mantel. Couldn't have been easier! With the leftovers, I made ornaments to hang using the same ribbon. I love this bright green velvet I picked up on Amazon (LINK).
