Happy Birthday My Life From Home Blog!

It's one year today!  Yep.  My Life From Home is having a birthday!

Can you hear the singing from my kids in the background?

Happy Birthday by www.whitecottagehomeandliving.com

Why did I start the blog?  Well, to be honest it came from a place of mixed emotions.  I had gone through a difficult work chapter and was turning over a new leaf and embracing a new stay at home mom life.  I was excited about the journey ahead, but also nervous that something of myself might become lost in the new role.  I was always dabbling in crafts, fashion and home decor.  I constantly had a project going or was moving something around in our house {sometimes to my husband's dismay!}  I wanted to use my new-found time at home to explore more of these ideas and create an inspiring life from home.  Thus came the name of the blog! It seemed like a good outlet and a way to document my journey by writing it out, each project and idea as they came.

I can't believe that it's been one year since I first hit that send button to send my thought and ideas out to the world.  Some of you have been here from the beginning and I have to thank you for sticking around because I've been doing a little looking back just for fun and those first few posts sure were so-so at best!

The blog itself has definitely undergone a lot of changes from that first grainy photo.  I thought it would be fun to look at some stats from the last year!
