Halloween is a big deal when you have 3 children! It’s a big deal for adults when it’s on a Saturday night! We are looking forward to hosting a Trick or Treat night party with kids in costumes, chili and warm cider on the stove, a fire pit and lots of adult beverages!
What are your plans this year?
I thought I’d round-up some of the special holiday plans and decorations I have going on around my life from home to show you. Then, I plan to head out to party plan and enjoy a family and friends weekend!
Recipes I’m Making
Vampire Fang Cookies from Just a Pinch Recipes
Strawberry Ghosts by Miss Candiquik
Pumpkin Rice Krispie Treats from Tutus and Tea Parties
Mummy Dogs from Pilsbury
Along with Apple Cider and Chili.
My oldest, Emma, was invited to a special Halloween Poetry tea party which was super fun. Along with cider and homemade donuts, the kids did dry ice science experiments in a “witches caldron.”
Before the weekend even begins, we have a special event at my husband’s work which is always a great time; Teeny Halloweeny! The little ones come into daddy’s work and trick or treat through the office. We will start our weekend out right with this Friday morning event.
Here is a picture of Grant as Darth Vadar at last years party. This year, he is Bobo Fett. We definitely have a bad guys Star Wars theme going on here! 🙂
I hope everyone has a safe and happy Halloween!
I’ll be back on Monday sharing some fun projects I have coming up!
