Make a DIY Herb Drying Rack for Your Kitchen!
With my new garden cart in full swing, the herbs I’m growing are growing wild and I needed a way to dry them for future use.
How to Make a DIY Herb Drying Rack

- Using a Honey Stain by Minwax (LINK), I stained a small piece of craft wood from Michaels. I couldn’t find it on their site, but this one (LINK) is great because it already has the hanger attached.
- I measured out the spots I wanted the pegs to go, then using tacky glue (LINK), glued on the stained wood pegs (LINK)
- Finally I used eye hooks (LINK) to attach a piece of twine for hanging.
If you aren’t interested in making your own, I found this one online from Wayfair (LINK) which would be great for drying your herbs!
I cut two bunches of basil and one of mint to hang alongside a bunch of dried lavender I had from a craft project.
I love that it’s useful and also looks cute!
I made a second one for my daughters room and she uses it to hang her necklaces! Another option for an easy organizational solution!
