I never imagined my son would be the hardest one of my three children to dress! I have two older girls and they really wore pretty much whatever I told them to up until hitting those tween years. Now that they are 11 and 13, it has become a whole other post, but I digress…. My son, Grant, doesn’t like collars. He doesn’t like pants with buttons. If the shirt is too constricting, forget about it! I would have thought it would have been my girls that would have been this hard to dress, but no, it’s a daily battle to find an outfit for him that meets all his requirements! 🙂 That is really hard for a mom like me that actually cares what my children are wearing each day.
I was thrilled when I was given the opportunity to team up with Burt’s Bees Baby. Can I get an amen to cute, stylish, and comfortable play clothes?! I enjoy the creativity and energy that my five-year-old has for life! As a mom, I want to celebrate his new discoveries and not be battling with him each day over what to wear. I am so excited about this line of clothing and I cannot tell you how it has changed our daily routine.
Grant is a five-year-old boy. What do five-year-old boys do? Well, I can tell you, they like to play in the mud, kick balls, run, and play superheroes. Cozy fall clothes are a must for this busy little boy. He starts KN in the fall and between full days of school and after school activities, this mom is needing super easy clothes that help us to relax and enjoy each moment. With fall clothes shopping on the horizon, I’m thinking ahead to the cooler days of fall and choosing clothes that will work through the season.
I can picture his first day of school photo and his KN sports jam night wearing his new Burts Bees Baby clothing. The selection is adorable with special appliques and colorful details.
Not only is the line affordable, but it holds up to a rough and tough boy! Being that it is 100 percent organic cotton, I can feel good about what I put on his skin and it is soft and comfortable for him. He can run and play without worry which is what he is most concerned about!
