In addition to Christmas, my daughter has a birthday on Dec. 27. A double whammy when it comes to prepping for the month’s activities! For her school treat this Friday, she picked out snowman cookie pops. We had seen these on Pinterest and thought they would be fun to try. Since they are on sticks, also easy to eat and the delivery to school isn’t as difficult as cupcakes. Here is the lowdown on how we made them.
First we had to break apart the cookies and put the tops aside.
Attach their top lids back on and squeeze gently together.
Now your cookie pops are ready to be dipped.
Decorate a snowman face. We used mini chocolate chips and a candy corn for the nose.
I will say this was not as easy as expected. Numerous cookies broke but the end result is a cute and very yummy treat. If you have an idea for all of the Oreo bits, give me a shout!
