At Home: The Holiday Decor Destination

This post brought to you by At Home. The content and opinions expressed below are that of My Life From Home.

How many times have you opened up that holiday crate from your storage closet and realized 1.) You no longer have that color scheme or style in your home or 2.) That string of lights you so carefully packed somehow managed to get into a tangle!  Please tell me I am not the only one that this happens too?!

Well friends, it's that time of year when life gets busy and you do not have the time to be running from store to store to restock your holiday lights and decor.  Today I'm going to tell you where you can go for the premier selection of holiday decorations right at your fingertips!  If you're like me, then you definitely want a high- quality, affordable selection in which to create your dream holiday style!

I'm telling you, look no further than At Home! At Home has everything you will need to make your home holiday ready. I was blown away by the huge selection of indoor and outdoor decorations unlike anywhere I've seen before.  Be prepared upon your visit to swoon like a kid in a candy store!  It's a one- stop shop for every type of need from lights to bulk ornaments!

IMG_1881When you first enter the store, you will be drawn to the At Home Christmas Decor. They have everything from ornaments to dining in one of 15 decorative themes from Peppermint Jazz to Forest Fairy Tales which make it super simple to coordinate every room in your house! You can choose from 101 varieties of artificial Christmas Trees in an entire section of the store labeled Tree for Me.

It is a complete holiday solution for every home!

I've always decorated my kitchen and family room, but rarely did anything to my foyer.  Being that it is the first impression for guests who come to visit during the holidays, I decided this year I was going to tackle decorating this area first!

I was drawn to the forest and woodland themed Christmas selection to match my barn door and antique chest of drawers which are visible in my foyer.

Using garland, rustic twine balls, woodland animals and a 6 foot skinny tree, I transformed my foyer into a welcoming space filled with holiday goodness!

Look how perfectly that tree fits in the corner of the landing!

I am absolutely in love with how it turned out!  It mixes so well with my house style and is so welcoming to those visiting us during the holidays!

To life feeling like home!

XO,

  1. […] with some incredible ladies to show different Christmas rooms in our homes.  You’ve seen my foyer, Cozy Christmas Kitchen and my front porch.  Today I am showing you my mantle and living room. […]

  2. Your foyer looks beautiful – so festive 🙂 I know there’s an At Home store about 30 minutes away from me, but I haven’t been there yet. Looks like I have a great excuse to stop in now 😉

  3. Cathy says:

May I ask your paint color on the stairs, beautiful beige!

    • Amy says:

Hi Cathy!! I am hunting for the color. I have one paint that had been remixed from the original but can’t come up with anything but a bunch of numbers. I have since started a file. I have sense learned my lesson! I will keep researching and let you know if I come up with it!!

      • Cathy says:

Thanks, I really like it, the color. If you give me the brand and numbers, I can take it to the paint store for a sample. 🙂

  4. Pam Sohan says:

I was just at At Home yesterday. Bought some 75% of Halloween decor. Saw some lovely Christmas stuff. But I have sooooo much already LOL Waiting until the day after Thanksgiving to drag it all out , before I buy anything else. We usually put up a huge tree in the living room, both kids have trees in their rooms. The tree with all the kid oriented ornaments is in their TV room, there is a skinny tree in the foyer and one on the front porch. I want to decorate the back porch this year too, since we spend more time out there than in the front yard. I love Christmas!!!!!!.

    • Amy says:

I love it!! I can imagine how awesome your house looks for Christmas!! That’s amazing. I was so excited about my skinny tree on the landing. I could get into multiple trees as well! Uh oh! That may mean another trip to At Home! 🙂
