If you’ve been around here for a while, you know that I absolutely love coffee. I could drink it all day long (think IV). I love the taste of coffee, the smell of coffee, the feel of the warm mug in my hands. Am I making you thirsty?
But wait……did you know that it’s possible to actually bathe in coffee also?
Yep. That’s right. Coffee can be used in the bath to scrub away all those bumps and dry spots on your skin. If your skin is anything like mine in the winter, you really need to spend extra time exfoliating and moisturizing against the harsh weather.
I recently put together this coffee sugar scrub to do just that. You can exfoliate that skin and smell good enough to drink when you are done!
See I knew coffee was good for everything! 🙂
This recipe mixes coffee with sugar and coconut oil to make a delicious smelling, but also extremely effective body scrub.
3 Ingredients! That’s all.
Coffee Sugar Body Scrub
•1 cup Cane Sugar
•½ cup Coffee Beans (ground)
•1 cup Organic Virgin Coconut Oil (room temperature)
1. Combine cane sugar and coconut oil in small mixing bowl.
2. Add ground coffee to the mixture. Stir well. Add more coffee if desired.
3. Garnish with a sprinkle of ground coffee.
4. Tip #1: use organic ingredients.
5. Tip #2: works as an exfoliator and moisturizer.
LOVE IT! PIN IT!
I hope you will try this recipe out and let me know what you think!
I’m off to make a cup of coffee.
I’m suddenly overcome with thirst! 🙂
